Just got confirmation from Fred that the Haldex tune as a standalone is $699.

I wonder how much if you get the DSG/Tune combo. $699 plus $799 for the tune is a bit more then I'm willing to spend.

Just heard back for UM, he's looking for about 10 cars in order to have him come out here and flash the cars for us. I think with the number of people that we have getting combo tunes, if we get one or two more cars we can probably get him to come out. Tell your friends and let's make it happen! Haha

                Please let us know asap.

I know Kyle will be on contact with them today to see if we can get this done late this week or early next week. I would assume they will want confirmed numbers along with payment.
Hopefully we will have some sort of update from them soon.

                      +1

Some times you'll have to wait weeks before you hear anything back.

Sucks to say but I'm out. Have some serious alignment issues I need to sort out before Leavenworth. Need new tires.

                            Re: United Motorsports tune-Group Buy!

I'm always curious about tunes from different companies that say they increase hp and tq and then say you get increased fuel economy. How is that possible? I already drive like an old man but it would always be nice to get some extra km's on a tank of gas, but it just seems to good to be true. For those of you that have vr's, why are you choosing to go UM? What are the differences/benefits in their favor when compared against Unitronic, etc? I have absolutely no knowledge in this department and mainly just see hp and tq numbers and cant tell the difference between companies.

Tunes make an the same engine you already have run more efficiently without actually bolting on any modifications. Efficiency = power and fuel economy
