Re: Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
Right on thanks for the comments! I will read up on all the products.
I'm pretty impressed with the torque in factory spec. Can't wait to up it
I've been reading that Petroleum and Husky appear to be good diesel and I am sure Flying J would be good too with the big rig aspect

Re: Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
Yup, power service every tank. With ULSD being the norm now it's missing some of that. Not to mention cold climate starts. It comes on sale at crappy tire once in a while so stock up then.
Edit, I'm jealous, last I spoke to tJ about his, IIRC he had said he missed the torque that thing put down. Enjoy!Last edited by CGDoig; 10-19-2016, 07:07 AM.

Re: Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
+1 for power service, i just use it mainly to add lubrication to the fuel. Especially on older diesels.

Re: Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
Add a bit of biodiesel in your tank if you can, good for increased lubrication. Only other thing I use is diesel purge, I prime my new fuel filters with it.

Re: Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
I run Petrocan or husky diesel in my tdi, and for additives, PowerService white for winter, silver during the summer, both add lubricity and boost cetane numbers. Those ,335's are torque monsters when tuned, have fun!

Love these! Have had a few clients with them
Most diesels are good. I usually filled at trucks stops when possible. Their diesel is always good and they switch to winter spec a lot earlier.
Liquimoly has a few good options. Most common:

Any European Diesel Lovers on here...?
Recently picked up a 2009 BMW 335d with the 3.0TT M57 motor. First diesel car, have had lots of trucks but nothing to the caliber of this motor.
My question is, what diesel fuel do you use and what additives? I would be willing to guess without looking up that our fuel in AB is subpar comparing to US and Europe.
Yes I will be tuning the car to 530+TQ
