No Diesel

a little up set tonight when i find out i have no gas. i'm on 17th heading to my gf's house. i figure there has to be a place near her house (westhills) that sells deisel, jesus was i wrong i went to 12 gas staions all over that part city and none of them sell deisel!! i went to a coop and a safeway (a little weird that they didn't have it either). so finally my 13th stop was the husky on the coner of richmand and 37th i think. ne way i just wanted to vent and if ne of u diesel guys know ne other place that sell dielse up there please let me know!

hahah same thing happened to me a couple years ago, was trying to get from vancouver to calgary in one tank in our MBZ 300SD...well we made it to 37th street and car started shakin and **** haha...SOOOOO CLOSE to home but just couldn't make it.

we ended up filling up at some place on 37th......I think its called Super Save Gas or something like that??? it's near some school that is on that road (again i forget the name of the school....but its a big one thats all i can remmeber heh) sorry for beign so useless.

All Husky and Mohawk stations sell diesel. Most Petro Can and some Shell stations do. I find that the closer you are to the highway the easier diesel is to find (where the semi hang out). By the way I drove from 1 hour SE of Calgary to Vancouver on a single tank of fuel.....$33 for the trip.

We used to hold our meets at Westhills, I think there is a Petrocan just east of there (opposite side of Sarces) with Diesel, but Bart or Simon would know for sure.

Baa they don't know. Westhills is my hood! In the SW their is a huskey on richmond road and 37th street and also a Mohawk at 37th street and 17th ave right buy the Wendies, partsource etc Right behind the walmart. I for one ALWAYS will up at mohawk/husky as I have been using their diesel for over 10 years and have never had a jelling problem.

If all else fails you can dump some canola oil in the tank and it will work just fine until you get to a station.

before brewing my own biodiesel i used to throw about 1/2 a litre of canola in per tank to smooth it out a bit.

i was thinking of trying citronella oil during mosquito season but was never that brave

Diesels are great. You could pee in the tank and make it go.

I just got a new source for grease and now have 100 gallons to process. Time to go pick up some methanol!

Bio-diesel, or me peeing in your tank? I'll make sure I have mexican the night before so it's high test.
