You could just staple a couple hundred dollar bills to your A-pillar, it would be very impressive and cost the same.

I think I am going to replace my left side VDO boost gauge with one showing fuel pressure.

Thats not a bad idea, although we already have in-door space for them on the Mk4...

Still it could be pretty cool.

If you did dual pods on each side with dual tweeters it would be bizarre but probably show-worthy!

Not enough kickpanel space for speakers in my opinion. Although I might start on doors like that in the fall.

I hate kickpanel installs for so many reasons.... feet and legs being 2 (or 4) of them.

I agree I wouldn't do kickpanels in my car but the double door speakers look great.

I did kicks in my last car but it didn't have a deadpetal so it was no biggy. Now that I have one though I am not giving it up. Door mounted speakers can be made to sound better then kicks in a VW anyways.

My problem is that the theory of more equal path length was OK but not when that path has to travel through a couple of legs the high frequency response does suffer a little That and you will forever get mr. careless putting his feet all over them.

I always had that problem and mine where nice fiberglass ones I think they are great for a car that is not a daily driver but otherwise there are so many other ways to get near equal pathlengths.
