I don't know if you would be interested but we had a 2003 RSX traded in with us 2 days ago. Its a black 5 speed with I think leather (unless its leatherette), heated seats, sunroof etc. Its not a type S however you are more than welcome to come test drive it if you like. I'd have to chech to see what we are asking for it though. Give me a shout at 5th avenue autohaus! My name is Derek!

Altitude does have an effect on FI cars, however not nearly as much as NA cars. As altitude increases Oxygen density decreases but other, lighter, gasses (such as nitrogen) increase in density. When compressing the atmosphere some of the oxygen difficiency is compensated for by an increase in ingested atmosphere volume (oxygen is bigger than nitrogen so there is more space to stuff it in and retain a given compressed volume and pressure).

The turbo also loses a wee bit of efficiency up here and thus a chipped 1.8t can't sustain the huge peak and spike numbers that one can pull off at lower altitudes. We get similar out of the gate power, but it falls off quick as the turbo heats up. I saw this last year when I was at +300 ft in BC and when I go up to Edmonton (+1000 ish, I think).

A friend with a Stage 3 SRT-4 was running consistant 13.9's - 14.0's at Race City and consistant 13.4's at Bud Park in Edmonton. His 60 times were, again, consistant at 1.95's - 2.1's. As a side note one of the guys doing the build on my Neon could cut 1.7's with lower times but I'm told the sound it made at launch was not pleasant. Like a billion little drivetrain molecules screaming in agony.

So I test drove one the other day, looks like I might have to pass on them. I was quite impressed with the car, hated the stock tires but otherwise it performed awesomely. But I was short of head room, I had to crane the neck a bit to fit in, I would have to have the seat lowered in order to drive the car. So I will probably not be buying one, unless I find an awesome deal

Yeah driving is knowing. I really wanted a Saab 93 but I didn't fit so good.

Not to drag this off topic, but those are sweet. and the resale on them is terrible so you can pick a couple year old one up for almost have it's new value. i'm not crazy about the interior though.

Glad you got a chance to ride in a RSX. I like them but not as much as the cars they replaced (Integra GSR, TypeR and Prelude). The only honda that i've fit comfortably in recently is the SIR hatchback (which has one of the nicest gearboxes i've ever used)

i love rsx-s's the seats are awesome.. the gear box pwns but they are kinda annoying to backup as the view is wierd but overall if i was rich i'd probably have one and a euro
