Spotted: Modded PG GLI...altezzas etc

First time I've seen this car around. Saw it on Macleod near Southland tonight heading north.
Its a Plat. Grey GLI (03..so its a VR6).
Mods included: What looked to be a Rieger R/RX but I couldn't see since he was next to me, had vents on the side though, some rather riced skirts, a rather ugly rear, altezzas, some blingin chrome 18's y0!! Did have a decent sounding exhaust though..but I'm a sucka for VR6 exhaust tone so who knows, it could have been ricey too.

Yeah so its a typical spotting...but the thing is that the dood is right next to me for like a mile or so...2 modded mk4's next to each other..I'm lookin at his car (laughing inside my head..but still looking) and the dood acts a thug and does not even give a glance over for a thumbs up or anything.

Does my car suck or is he a thug for real y0? This is the kind of thing Civic drivers usually do

I actually saw this car yesterday down at C1 ,the guy was getting some work done and seemed less than pleased. I dont know what kind of kit it is but its pretty wild and those wheels are really chromey/blingy. As far as suck vs. thug I think I'll keep my opinion to myself but suffice it to say its not my style.

Reminds me of a sand colored golf I saw the other night.. Altezza's, exhasut and SPINNERS!! I could barely contain myself...

Yes I saw that Jetta the other night as well and was kind of taken a back by the kit. Well he has lots of stuff done and his own style so why not but I prefer a more subtle Euro style!!!

Reminds me of a sand colored golf I saw the other night.. Altezza's, exhasut and SPINNERS!! I could barely contain myself...

My wife saw that car, I think the colour is wheat beige or something.

It is Mojave Beige to be precise, Wheat Beige is the New Beetle Convertible colour, in case anyone cares

bling BLAO, I've only seen this car once in person after hearing about it a while ago...its just totally odd to see spinners on a VW haha.

Blair,Blair,Blair. You have so much to learn Harvest moon is the New beetle convertible color. Wheat beige is the current beige on MK4 Golfs and Jettas. The GTI in question however is the more Goldy beige referred to as Mojave Beige.

BTW, I just saw that Platinum GLI here at the dealership. Certainly not my tase but the guy seems to have put a lot of $$ into it. The kit was a Zender kit and he also had a fiberglass hood that went with it!

Yeah thats right Mojave switched to Wheat in the 2004 model year, my mistake time to go study my colour charts again
