Tickets from BC showing up on AB record

do tickets you get in BC show up on your AB driving record? I have heard conflicting information and I was wondering if anyone on here with past experiance can say whether they do or not.

I don't know about now, but I got a ticket in BC 2.5 yrs ago that never showed up on my Ab record. They may have changed things since then.

They don't.....not yet anyway . From what I've heard, the Canadian government is trying to implement stricter driving laws nation wide. One new addition would see out-of-province tickets being added to your provincial driving record . I don't know if they would look back to see if you had previous offences though

If it did happen, which I'm doubtful, it would never be retroactive...

Just hope you don't get pulled over again in BC. Pretty sure they can impound your car if you have outstanding tickets.
