Oh btw I was told at a couple of dealerships that they can't void your entire warranty - they can just refuse to bill Volkswagen for a warranty claim. There's a difference - if they voided your warranty you would never be able to ask for another claim. But since they can only refuse, you can always ask at another dealership or try again later or whatever, because you still have the warranty...

Are you sure about that Peter? I have the TT shifter in my car and I am pretty sure that all TTs are 6 speed. Please correct me if I am wrong.
