Re: Best Rubber for your baby
Its not about needing a tire that holds up to my everyday driving. Every day I'm not taking corners like a track star, I completely agree.
But that one time when I need it, I want it to be there. In an unexpected situation. When I take an exit ramp a little too quick. When some guy slams on his brakes in front of me. When I feel like driving like a complete prick and drifting my car around the McKenzie Towne traffic circle. On those days, I want the best tire I can afford. Its absolutely not about my fears kicking in before the tires give out. Its about the road being a dangerous place and me wanting to be in control, not just most of the time, but all of the time.

I've had both the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's and currently drive on Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. Personally, the Goodyears are more comfortable, handle like snot in the rain (ie. almost gave a white M3 a run for his money) and look killer. If I were to by again, I would go with the F1's.
