Hey, i am currently getting a vibration when i let off the gas and than get back on it, i am thinking it might be the cv joints. i know the description of the problem isn't much, but i am wondering what are common symptoms of a wearing out CV joint?

    Re: CV Joint

Outter cv's often will click or grind if you do really tight turns (do some circles in a parking lot or something.). I've never had one go, but thats what i hear. Inner CV's vibrate under load. Had one of these get pretty bad. Had to go to VW cause C1, and fountain tire couldn't find the vibration. (Tunedub didn't exist at the time.)

Vibrations like that are tough to diagnose sometimes...

I want to say it is a click or a knock, does not create a heavy vibration in the car just a small one. As I speed up or hit my breaks hard it goes away.

Could be a bearing for that matter.

Can I drive with either problem? I phoned TuneDub but I don't know if he is around this saturday and need my car to get to hockey.

I will note that it is getting louder.

This may sound stupid but make sure all your wheel lugs are torqued, specifically the front ones. If they are a little loose, you will get similar noises to what you are decribing.

I am sure they are tight but I will check them again before ordering parts
