Hi all,
Well, I think I've pretty much exhausted the options available to me with the K03 that the AEB came with. #1, it's puny. #2, it's oil and water cooled, which just ain't cool with me (OK, with the skin attached to my forearms when I have to work on that crap).
I've got a conversation going on the Tex, but I wanted to get a Canadian perspective on which of these turbos would be best (and cheapest).
The swap is a 96 GTI (formerly VR6) and I'm going to be running stock AEB (Passat) management on the car (maybe chipped and bigger injectors), so I don't want to go wild.....until I've driven the car for a while and had my way with it.
Let a fellow dubber out! I'd love to know who distributes them in Canada, or if you don't get killed with brokerage from the US (doubtful).
Thanks.

You'd have to make your own manifold but if you want to do something unique, theres an idea for ya. It would be cheaper than a lot of turbos and you would get better results. It will out flow a GT28R and maybe RS with faster spool and like I said, cheaper, and OEM built to last for the Volvos.
If it's smoken it ain't broken
