Re: Oil Pressure Gauge
wtf do you need a 42DD one for? pop off the sensor, take it to any decent auto parts store and ask for a brass T the will screw into that hole and take the sensor. It will cost you less than $3.
If mine was still off my car I would find out the size for you but the front end is back on.
Look at my build thread at the pics of how I did my oil feed line off the filter. You just need one of those.

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge
Yea I think 42dd makes a Tee off for it, but wasn't sure if that was where you're supposed to work from. I'll read a little more tonight.Originally posted by RONDAL View Postits either the blue or black sensor on top of the oil filter housing. Otherwise you could simply T off one of those and install a pressure sensor.
I will do some digging and see if I can find out for you.

Oil Pressure Gauge
Anyone have any experience installing one? I want to put one on the VR6 and it LOOKS as though you may be able to use one of the sensor locations on top of the oil filter housing. I looked on Vortex but the only info there seems to be for Corrado's which already have a stock gauge.
Any info appreciated. The best info so far has been the 42DD site which is pretty confusing.Tags: None
