ABD Racing

I was just curious as to what everyone thinks of parts that are from ABD Racing. I was looking on their site and discovered a few things I would like to buy, such as an intake manifold and a blow off valve.

Just from what I've read up intake manifold does nothing for power. At that cost you are better of spending money else where. Also VW's run better with re-circulated valve compared to a atmospheric valve(Blow off valve).

They do have other good products, like the inlet pipe, side intercooler pipe etc..

Basic bolt-ons, I would say they are okay. For things like sway bars or whatever.

Also they make some parts that look nice too.

Anything for engine performance is probably hit and miss.

I just ordered an intake pipe (OMI), catless downpipe and EGR delete race pipe from www.streettoys2000.com for my ALH TDI. Nick gave me a 10% discount off the parts and gave me a 50% discount of the shipping.

Their quality sucks. Powder coating that flakes off, welds that look like crap... spend a little extra and buyer nicer stuff! Also their customer service is non-existent!

Who's quality? Street Toys or ABD? Street Toys makes all Kerma's parts but at way cheaper prices. Kerma just stamps their logo on Street Toys' stuff.

I have no personal experience, but I've read all of the same things that Mefro already mentioned.

And the don't have any TDI stuff.
