Hey thanks for offering, im down in the SW in Bridlewood next to 22x road. Not the sort of place you tend to just be in the area for or just passing by unless you live in Okotoks My back is almost right again now so ill probably be having a go at it again one evening later this week or latest this weekend. If your free i wouldnt mind some pointers, im sure it would only take an hour when youre familiar with what to do and where it all connects.

What's the deal with putting this in a GTI? Frostheater only sells them for TDI's. Is the install the same? Any cons to putting this in a GTI? I'm still a bit apprehensive about this.

I contacted Frostheater about getting a kit for the GTI and this is the response I got:

"Thank you for your interest in our Custom Engine Heater kits for the Volkswagen TDI. At this time we are concentrating on the TDI diesel engine due to the large demand. Unfortunately the cooling systems are different from the gasoline versions along due to components under the hood which we have to design for being we utilize an external tank type heater."
