Also consider looking for a deal on rubber online, 1010tires or tiretrends. Right now they don't have much but sometimes you can get tires on special. Bob has good deals though too, depends on what you want.

Lots of folks have brought up wheels and tires from tirerack.com in the US and saved money too. Tires will often be $100 less each even after the $ conversion. If you get wheels there too, it can even be worth a drive to pick it all up...

Personally I would stick with OEM or Hella lighting. Lots of the aftermarket headlights start off great but then get chipped up fast or you get moisture problems on the inside etc etc.

Not sure about the Votex kit - its an OEM part so its available from the dealership (if they are still making them) but it will cost a pretty penny.

So ive been out of the loop for a couple years now, but have saved up a bunch of money. So have saying that i have a shopping list but need to know where to order from for an 01 jetta vr6
