    Re: Body Kit

My theory has always been this. a bodykit is something you cant see while driving. Its nice for others to look at and admire, but really does nothing for you. A stereo is something you can listen to and enjoy, so the benefit is for you and not the public. My opinion is the same as DJ's. Stereo>bodykit

    Re: Body Kit

Get a stereo. I love my stereo and wouldn't change it for a body kit any day of the week. It all depends though. Do you go on any trips with your car or have a decent commute in the morning because if you don't then maybe a body kit would be better. I think a really nice stereo>a nice body kit.

    Re: Body Kit

If you do not want one of the very few super-high-quality kits, I would opt for a car stereo.

Also if you get a body kit, do not cheap out on the paint or you will need to get it resprayed the next year, trust me... lots of places that do a body kit special will leave you with a bumper that just won't hold up to rock chips etc.

Also don't underestimate the cost for the install and paint.

And you will reduce your resale value, probably, unless its an OEM kit.

Stay away from any fibreglass kits. Any impact and the hole thing will crack. Do some research on vortex as well, there are a ton of reviews of different brands including eurogear and the very controversial dubtechnik.
