Chopped Stock Shift Shaft

So, one night while bored and cruising the vortex, i came across a posting about chopping the shifter to reduce throw and enhance the looks.

So, I did it last night. The throw feels better, and is only slightly harder to shift.

You and me both Peter. I guess though when you are used to shorter things, it's hard to get used to long stuff.

Its dead simple to get to the rod. Just undo the zipper, and voila

Seriously though, just grab the back of the boot, where it meets the car, and push forward and up. It pops right of.
