Maybe we could put something from Fifth Ave in the calendar, like a 337 or a W8, or me...

Mine's just 'yer basic GTI 1.8T w/ 17" Monte Carlo's, but I'll take the October slot if it's available. Here's a link to some pics of my car featuring another GTI, which as you will see makes my car seem like a chevy chevette in comparison

I know this is straying a bit from the calendar topic, but Simon, are your calipers painted red? At least from my monitor, it looks like it in the second pic. Was it fairly simple to do? DIY? I want to do the same, and just wanted to hear from someone who has done it themselves. Now about the calendar, has there been a date set to photograph the cars? Or should we submit our own, high-res snaps? A couple pictures from my 337 and 1.8T shoot turned out pretty good and may be calendar worthy.

Yes my calipers are painted Chris. I used the Foliatec kit that you can find at any tuning store (Concept1, for example). It's really easy and comes with a caliper cleaner, paint, and hardener. You take off the wheel, spray the caliper and wipe it off and then mix the hardener/paint together and paint the caliper.

It's really that easy, I helped Pat do his after I did mine. His came out WAY better because we put about 5 coats on it. So his are really shiny, very "porsche big-brake" like.

LOL ya I went for the fence on the coats. Everyone asks "did you do a brake conversion?" I just tell them that I painted em and they go "wow"lol
