I feel your pain, my MK5 led tails were $600, but they are so worth it. The tails alone completely change the rear end, and the MK6 ones are even more badass.

Yeah I am pretty sure it is a must do mod for me, but just finding the best/cheapest way to go about it.

When I was shopping around for mine, all the online stores were selling the tail lights for the same price. Only factor that differed between stores were shipping fees, where ECStuning was the cheapest. Chances are the tail lights won't go down in price either, the MK5 ones have been out for almost four years now and have only dropped $100 from the original price in the past few months.
