    Re: R32 Roll Call

I was at FahrFromHome last weekend, figured I'd stop in here too. Got this car in September or so from C2 Motorsports in Kentucky, drove it home myself. So it came with the big turbo kit and the only thing I've added so far is the 3" APR Golf R exhaust (it had the stock catback).

I've seen the tfl pin being bent over in the switch itself

After some investigating, the PO doesn't recall doing anything else and my research suggests that the euro install doesn't involve anything other than replacing the switch.

EDIT: I think you're right that the DRL's should come on regardless. What I thought were the DRL's were the "city or parking" lights that are activated by the euro switch. Sorry to cause confusion. I was previously unaware that DRL's are actually low beams at reduced brightness.

Fair enough. I've had some friends move to AB from MB and they had no problems with the switch...maybe because yours has been imported from the states could be different.

    Re: R32 Roll Call

First of all, apologies for spamming this thread. Thanks to help from you guys I just realized how easy it is to pull the headlight switch and check the TLR prong.

Unfortunately, the previous owner of my R installed the euro headlight switch which makes it so that I must turn the switch clockwise one notch to activate the DRL's. There's no tape or anything on the prong. Essentially I need to find a north american headlight switch to put in for one day to pass inspection. I think I'll try pick-your-part or something unless somebody wants to let me rent (ie trade) theirs for a day in exchange for a case of beer lol. I don't actually expect this to happen, but does anybody have an extra switch or know where I might find one?

Anymore questions and I'll start my own thread. Promise!
