  • VW CPO warranty questions

    is it true that under this you have to pay for diagnosis time? and are there any other surprises?
    2002 VW Golf GT TDI
    2016 VW Passat BiTDI

    I didnt pay for anything.... had turbo on my mk4 tdi done, and had half of engine replaced on my Passat (whole thread on that...). Personally, I think its great..

      If that was true Stefan would have had to sell his house to pay for the passats diagnostics.

        Bart, any update on this situation?

        I'm bringing the car in to Fifth Ave to get her suspension/diff checked for warranty. Hit a massive pothole in the middle of Highway-1 and had to use the donut for ~30km into Golden. FML.

          no updates yet, but warranty doesn't cover potholes lol

              Then the best thing is to not post things like that on the internet where VW checks forums and members of the club work for VW *facepalm*

                  they do watch this way closer than I expected... my service manager was following my posts pretty regularly while my car was in for all it's issues.
