  • More seats

So I've been wanting some new seats for the MK4 and have my eye set on some MK5-MK6 seats. Locally an auto recycler is offering me the 2012 Jetta Sport leather seats, front and rear, in new condition for $800 tax in.

What do you guys think? Yay or nay?

      Re: More seats

Well probably better than what you're replacing, but I would consider trying to buy those Golf R seats that were for sale here on the forum? I got the impression he was looking for just over 1000 which isn't much more than what you're talking about (I could be wrong because he wouldn't list a price...).

            Re: More seats

The seats are heated and power, and yes it's a full front and rear set. I've seen sets go for $500 in the USA but these are the only ones I've seen currently available in Canada. In Edmonton there is autobahn dismantlers which will have a full set for $1000 in March.

Are they easy to put in a MK4? Personally I like them and would go for it!

It's not plug and play, you need to get some bracket for the front and rear but it's been done and is not crazy hard. They actually fit perfectly size wise.

Do it, $800 for the whole set is a decent price and they will look good.

Bought them. This place is in Vancouver but they do have some nice stuff. They buy ICBC write-off vehicles and part them out, they have pretty fair prices.
