  • Removing a stripped o2 sensor

I've tried with no avail to remove the post cat o2 sensor. The 22mm hex is stripped out pretty bad - Looks like I'm not the only one who's tried to bust it loose. Hit it with PB Blaster after getting it up to temp, let it soak, blah blah blah, but it REALLY likes its place.
The sensor's wires have literally corroded themselves out of the sensor so i was able to get the box end over it, but its really badly rusted in there.
Anyone have any suggestions of how to get her out? I have heard good things about a butane torch and vice grips.

    Any input its appreciated!

oxy-acetelyne torch, burn it out, buy a new bung and get it welded on.

Grind 2 new faces on it and use an impact.

Ended up hammering on a 21 mm deep socket and an impact got her out!
