  • GM Syncromesh Trany Fluid

I've been reading up on various forums about this stuff, and it seems to be a godsend. Stops hard shifts, great temperature range, softens shifts and stops grinding thats all to common to VW 5 speeds. Anyone on here running it? I'd love to hear some local success stories

I'm running it in my MK1, better than the Auto Value stuff that was $3/L. The axle seals leak a bit more now than they did before because its a thinner fluid.

I've used it in many vehicles, I find it's good quality, not too expensive and does seem to make the shifting better. I've never tried it in a VW though.

Used it liked it allot. Had in my last 02c and was smooth like butter. I replaced. The mt90 the tranny had with syncromesh as I find it better all around.

Thats what I run. I tried out redline mt-90 and it was really choppy. The syncromesh quiets down noises and is smooth at all temps. Its cheap too.

I have it in mine, it's pretty decent.

I used it after recommendations from Ryan, great stuff. Runs super smooth and pretty quiet, warms up quick in the winters too

I have used syncromesh and redline mt-90, i didn't notice a difference really. They are both good fluids but then again i never had hard shifts or grinds or anything.

I run the VW stuff. My O2J has handled 300 plus whp for a couple years now without complaining.

from what ive been reading, it outdoes MT-90 in almost every way, especially when it comes to temperature and revitalizing old trany's. Might so a flush this weekend and see how much of a difference it makes.

I used to run it in old turbo dodges , kept me from blowing up a crappy trans , so i guess you could use it in a good trans . I will try it on my a4 before recomending it ,
