    Rebuilding axles: who? + how much?

    Looking to correct some issues on the TDI this upcoming weekend and axles are on the list, i would like to rebuild my OEM shafts at this time.

    Can anyone recommend a shop that can do this for me?
    and also, any ballpark on cost? trying to figure out how much I will save by doing this vs purchasing new shafts (oem or raxles)

    Any advice would be most appreciated

    How bad are the axles? Just new boots or?

        Probably cheaper to get new axles.

          TDI's chew through axles like crazy. Price out the labor cost, the cost of inner and outer joints and compare it to empi or ultra 8 axles...why would you rebuild?

            raxles is it .. call down there he will rebuild yours or do a core exhange ....

                im rocking a EMPI on the UrS4 now, but have heard bad things from guys who make good power. raxles is a good bet, nothing but good things there
