What we did in the B6 Passat was to set it in the MFD, it's in the convenience section under settings. At least that's for euro cars I don't know the difference for the NA models.

Kessy is the keyless entry and start on newer VWs. You can basically leave the key in your pocket and unlock/start the car.

MK6 GLIs do not have that option in the MFD. I checked in the Ross-Tech Wiki and there is no easy way in the VAG-COM. There must be some long code programming that you have to do.

My dad has a mk6 GLI with kessy, maybe I will get the laptop out and mess around with it to see if it is possible.

Im doubting its possible to program, must need some sort of proximity hardware. If anyone can figure it out itll be Martin though. Thatd be unreal

Yeah or it could just time out and lock after a certain period of time. I'm assuming it already has some sort of proximity sensor because it unlocks when you put your hand through the handle, locks when you press the button on the door.
