Re: Tornado is coming home!
The reason I didn't center the tank is because there is a battery distribution block with a whole bunch of wires that I honestly didn't feel like moving. Off centred tank also means I can throw a snowboard or a set of skis down the side without scratching anything as well.

Re: Tornado is coming home!
thanks kane!
Stock wheels are back on due to the low offsets on the ttrs wheels. loved those wheels, but unfortunately they had to go. More progress on the trunk, just need some edging then it should be done. All thats left to do for the suspension is run sensor wires, mount sensors, and then also find some sway bar brackets. if anyone has a set laying around let me know. if not ill grab a set from bagriders. I was hoping to get the sensors in this week, but probably wont happen with this cold weather. i need to get myself a big ol garage heater one of these days.
anyways, heres the almost finished trunk.

Re: Tornado is coming home!
Yeah Colin is exactly right, I have my water trap before my tank, after my compressor, so it does help with keeping the h20 away. But like he said, I wanted to do this to be a little different.

Looks great Danny!
Kane, having it up high helps prevent water from getting in there and freezing up the valves in the winter. But with proper trapping, doesn't matter where you put it. I think it's mostly there for show.

Re: Tornado is coming home!
Looks good! Question, the air manifold on top the tank(or whatever the proper term for it is) is it there for a specific reason its up top or could you keep it down low with the compressors for a cleaner look? I ask because then under the hatch would look real tidy and clean.
Love your R though Danny!
