  • Pcv delete / crankcase vent system mod / Sai delete.

Thinkin about skipping the 034 breather hose replacement and taking some stuff out of the car rather than putting more in.
Anyone done these? Other than a cel, are there any other downfalls to it?

Depending on the tune that you are running you will have a check engine light. Some can get rid of it. Sometimes you get a improper flow code no matter what.

On the bright side, you can reach your oil filter from the top.

I've got all that junk ripped out... And just a 10an push loc hose running from
The filter housing and valve cover to infront of the oil pan.
No issues at all don't even get any smell from the heat.

Not too worried about the cel, and will eventually just tune it out. Thanks for the heads up.

I did a delete on my old Mk4 1.8T and never threw a code from it.

plug the 10W 330ohm resistors into the leftover electronics post delete. Deleting the PCV isnt a great idea, you're better off running a catch can and replacing the shitty brittle pcv elbow with an aluminium fitting and completing the system with silicone.
