Throttle Body Heating delete

Anybody in this neck of the woods run their car with the throttle body coolant (heater) line bypassed or deleted?

Obviously not an issue in summer, but for daily driver in the winter -- anybody ever experience throttle body freezing?

PCV moisture going thru why would you delete the lines?

I've moved the PCV line to dump into the manifold, downstream of the throttle body. I was more or less just thinking this is a nice way to clean the engine bay up.
