  • Winter driving!

Who here with a bodykit drives their car in the winter? Im just wondering because Im still contemplating getting a kit, and I cant afford another car at the moment. Lemme know what your experiences are with kitted cars in the winter. Thanx guys!

As long as you not lowered u might be OK... I am dropped 2" and its hell with NO bodykit... If I were U I wouldnt drive a kitted car in the winter... Kits are too much money to get chipped up and act as a snoplow

If you get a whole new bumper, you have the option of swapping it during winter. Just like wheels.

i sorta do/don't........ i took my pzwo piece off for the winter but this year i'm just buying a second front end as OEM bumpers are cheap then using it for the winter and keeping a summer front for summer time.. bumper takes 3 minutes to swap
as for being lowered i'm dropped 2" and its fine.. i plowed a bit but nothing major if its super snowing well obviously your gonna have troubles but ESP and EDL really helped and i was rocking 17s w/ allseasons this winter 17" S4's with snows

hmmm. . . Im getting a replica oetting kit, I think that has a full front bumper so I should be okay if I just take it off. I have a H&R Coilovers installed and I am currently dropped a little over 2 inches I believe, I think the range on those is 1.5-3 something. so I could always jack it up in the summer. I donno, do you think 1.5 is too low with a kit on?

and Ryan, do you swap only the front bumper off in the winter or the front and back?

But if you buy an OEM bumper from C1 you still have to paint it..unless you are going super ghetto in the winter and if people are handing out coin I will take some
