So I'm driving south on Friday night down 52nd street and right before the intersection at 26th ave (right by the Lester B Pearson) and as I am slowing down for the yellow light I look over to my right and there's an alleyway past the sidewalk and beyond one of those little crappy single wire fences....anyways I see these two punks standing there so I'm like wtf, then just as I am about to pass them, the cement chunks fly. They obviously were trying to take me out, because if their aim wasn't so bad, the fist sized chunk would have hit my front windshield, or punched through my side one and smoked me...luckily (not really but anyways), it smoked my a-pillar so its right fvcked up and the other chunks smoked my rear quarter panel and final, two chunks took out my rear windshield. Lil bastards took off down the alley and they chose a good spot because I could not just pursue on foot and with the sidewalk and fence there I couldn't just mow those punks down. Cops were nearby by didn't catch anyone (big surprise, Krispy Kremes sure make you tired late at night)...checked with half a dozen auto glass places, there was a replacement in Burnaby but its broken in the box and the only other replacement (other than from Germany) is in Quebec, so it could take as long as two weeks for it to come in. Needless to say, try to avoid that intersection at night, or, bring your gun, I know I will. My tire iron can be fun, but when the kids decide to try to kill you and yours with cement blocks (just think if I had a kid in the backseat or something), a little surprise in the glovebox will teach those kids something their parents never did....
