I saw that today as well - but I think waiting a year to see how the valve holds up is a good idea. I mean, your whole oil supply is held at bay in all extreme temperatures by that single o-ring... There's a reason why oil plugs are torqued as much as they are...
Still, will be very useful if it works.

I think you would be safe froma total blow out with the dust cap.
