Quick question - will any brand of Cd changer be compatible with my car's wiring?

I've come across some great deals on various brands of changers, but not sure if they will work in my car.

    Thanks.

No, you have to use a VW one or go through the radio with an FM modulator.

depending on the year of the car (up to 02 I think), the panasonic changer will work fine but I think you need an adapter to go from the round panasonic connecter to square vw connector.

Ack! Go with a phatbox, the prices are very reasonable now and its 100000x better than a plain old CD changer

you could even use a Kenwood music keg MP3 player through FM modulation....

Very true, they where out way before even VW started selling them. You should have seen the price on them when they first came out

Agreed. I LOVE my Phatnoise system now. I seriously don't know how I dealt with CD's for so long.
