Re: lowered jetta
You should be fine with 55mm, although you dont mention width of wheel/tire and offset. Generally the front will rub first unless you run really wide with spacers or low offset on the rear. You should be good up to 235 on 8.5 wheels with 30 offset.Originally posted by ottoquestion how far can I lower my jetta it has 19inch wheels 35mm or 55mm i like to lower it 55mm but i dont want it to rub any on have any suggestions. Thanks

Re: lowered jetta
I have 17x7.5s with a 2.5" drop and rolled fenders and I rub all the freakin time, but I guess that is MK3s for you

I would say the 55mm with the 19s should be ok! Do it!Blair

Re: lowered jetta
FOR SURE! Although this year I think it might be a good idea to do it on a less busy day. I'm also investing in a tripod for the Video Camera, so this time we will have good footage of everyone. Plus Bill can take some more killer photos. Oh, and a rear sway bar is a must for me before we try that again. Can you say understeer.Originally posted by RyanOH DUDE WE ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO doing that again this year!
