I would probably go for the H&R kit if price had not been an issue. I don't track my car so a lowered look with a cozy ride would have been more my cup of tea. The FK handles great but I don't push my car in the twisties too much....Mind you, the cup kit for my car has a more aggressive drop (2.5" or more) and the fk with the race springs dropped it only a touch over 2".

Way way back, I had bilstein shocks and neuspeed sport springs on my 99.5 Jetta. The ride was really good but I remember wishing the car was lower. Then, when I got my 2002, I got H&R coil overs and loved being *low*, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, the harshness and noise/squeaks became tedious. So now that I'm having to deal with buying suspension for the third time for a Mk IV you'd think I'd have my **** together, but I'm still unsure.
