I believe CVD has the right to use the VW logo? They applied through VW to be an offical VW owner's club.

It was actually a couple guys on the boards at CVD that got me into my VDub. This was before NVD even really existed. After NVD started, I just felt that the people who were part of this club were great. everyone gets along well, and it's a great group of guys.... all who bring something different to the club.

tension would be the war that was had between 2 "unnamed" car clubs/forums back in 2002.....and I don't see any of that going on between CVD/NVD. I am not too familiar with CVD but from what I've seen after being on this forum for like a year now and occasionally browsing CVD it doesn't look like there is anything to worry about.

maybe tension is the wrong word that i was looking for but myself as a person have felt a bit shunned from NVD, weather it was at a show or on this board.

k dude simply put i don't believe we have any tension hence i woulda simply deleted your post so other people here wouldn't have to see something that is well kinda silly imo

and 2ndly your more than welcome.. IMO i welcome any canadian that wants to post on our boards.. ESPECIALLY local people.. we are here to help each out and make the local VW scene well known to the rest of calgary.

Simply put.... This club intends to be a place for all VW enthusiasts to get together. Everyone is welcome. There is really no point in discussing this any further. Why make an issue of something that was never an issue to begin with. I really see no reason why this thread should even exist.
