Re: i need paint!
i had my repairs done by Craftsman they did a good job just they had my car in there for like 3 weeksOriginally posted by smarty39I would try Craftsman Collision off of McLeod Tr. by South Center Fine Cars. There is a painter named John there who does good work for a good price.

Elite Autobody gets my vote too.Originally posted by TunaElite Autobody.
I think responses are low because there's some bitterness around some bad paint jobs in the club
I think we are floundering a bit as to where to go next.

We may still get a discount at Rudy's. Good for small things if you ask me.Originally posted by CedrickWhat happened to Rudy's? Are they still the club bodyshop?
A couple of people had to have repaints done on bad/borderline paint jobs from Rudy's after we hooked them up as a club body shop last year. This is NOT to say they have done a bad job on ALL the cars they painted, however it only takes a couple of cases to make us as a group wary...KR

Re: i need paint!
For my 2 cents worth, I have always gone to where the dealership gets their work done--for the last no. of years, Northland VW have used Coachworks (one block N. of John Laurie, and just E. of Edmonton Trail), and I have had my Jetta in there too many times to mention, over the last 10 or so years. I know the owner (Frank) and he just loves seeing my Jetta!! (he said , "I hate this car-there's nothing on it to fix"...). Great work and reasonable prices, in my books!!!!Originally posted by GTI_VR6anyone have a source on a good paint guy? not looking to spend a arm and a leg on the job but i do want a nice finish. any help?
