Still at the "just curious" phase. And yeah, I know it will vary depending on where you go and what you want. But was wondering if anyone had a ballpark for a complete re-paint (assuming a proper strip down of the existing paint). Cheers.

Yeah, I have heard that too, if you want an all new colour I would say 4000-4500 plus more if you buy expensive paint. If you shop around maybe you could get a "super deal" though and spend less? If you had a really aggressive car you might be able to get sponsorship, but you would need some kind of super standout body work on a VW to get noticed.Originally posted by Stonewall

just a respray of factory colour.. $2000, to change the colour you'll have to pull the engine to do the engine bay right, and do the frame and door james etc etc, then yah it can get up near $4000.SimonComment
