    Re: car polisher

i have this one and it's awesome. it doesnt spin it just shakes real fast and if you push down to hard it'll stop so you can't damage the paint.

I have a Porter Cable but the new Griots is supposed to be awesome. The third generation just came out on December 3rd. Auto Obsessed in Edmonton carries them.

Porter Cable. Can't find it on the website but I'm pretty sure I saw it while I was there. Could be worth calling

                Re: car polisher

PC7424 is what I have. I used to have Dewalt Rotary but it dissapeared in one of my moves!

You can get the 7424 at Canadian Tire these days, but I buy my stuff through eshine.ca

I personally would prefer a Flex Tool these days as I find the 7424 to be a little underwhelming when it comes to paint correction.
                GT3071R and more...

                  thanks for the help guys,
I decided to go with the porter cable, i think it should fit his needs well.

                  Merry Christmas!

                    Re: car polisher

I don't think you can go wrong with either the Porter Cable or the Griots. I have the older PC 7424 which has since been replaced by the XP. Griots is supposed to be more powerful and has a lifetime guarantee. I have seen the Flex before and it is a nice machine but probably more than you need for an amateur.

                    Hope your dad enjoys it!
