I'm looking for a rough estimate of how much it would cost to paint my lowers on my 2002 B6 A4. That's pretty much it! I will look into getting my bumper and hood resprayed soon to take care of the rock chips and then get some 3m film wrapped on there, so if anyone knows how much that would cost that wouldn't hurt either. Thanks boys and girls!

Are you willing to do any prep/remove parts yourself?

Yes, I am actually going to be doing an apprenticeship for autobody refinishing through SAIT in about a year, so I do quite enjoy bodywork and painting. However I've never learned proper technique with things such as mixing paint and would not fully trust myself to match the colour of my car.Originally posted by onceover View PostAre you willing to do any prep/remove parts yourself?Evan

 Re: B6 Painting Lowers

 Didnt say anything about painting

If you prep everything I would imagine you could get them sprayed for $2-300.

I prepped my whole car with big help from BaggedGLI and got the whole thing resprayed for $1200

$1200?? that's nuts! where did you get it resprayed at? I need to get my hood and front bumper resprayed as well (rock chips) and then 3m'd to protect it in the future and if I prepped it all myself I asumme it would only be a couple hundred and that is pretty damn appealing!Evan

I second that, I am thinking about a respray and that's a great price!Originally posted by Down&Out View Post$1200?? that's nuts! where did you get it resprayed at? No, paint was $1,600. Plus prep work, which isn't cheap. Works out to over $3,000 with everything in.
