  • Rear brake stock replacement

Some metal master pads and which rotors? C1 has some for around 50-60 bucks that are supposed to be good, any recommendations? Looking for good wear and moderate street use. Can you price me a package?

Metalmasters are definately good streetable pads and I can do them for $59. The only thing is your front compounds will be differnent and so you will slightly change the braking balance, not a big deal though.

For rotors, the Brembo OEM ones are $40 each, which seems pretty cheap so I have to recheck the price if you are interested. Drilled/slotted are $79 each.

I don't know much about my brakes, are the stock/brembo rotors two piece vented rotors?

          The rears aren't vented.

who drills and slot's them, i have seen major f**k ups and actually caused less stopping distance under emergency stops..
\but i guess what ever looks good on your car..

I know bad drilling/slotting can cause cracking problems but I would think slotting for sure would almost always help stopping distance by cutting into the pads. Drilling is supposed to be for heat which doesnt effect most people. Both can help with weight but I guess that is a tradeoff for surface area...

I'm shooting for a bit more durability so yah please check price and if it's same I'll get a set of metal masters and a set of OEM brembos for rear as soon as available. My fronts were 60% when NL checked, damn rear stock pads!

                Thanks!
