  • Winter Tires! (Sorry about using the "W" word...)

Just thought I would put the word out that my winter tires have all started arriving. I am carrying a lot of the Korean brand Nexen and the Japanese brand Yokohama models at crazy prices...

The Nexen Euro Win is oriented towards the person who is looking for a tire that not only provides great levels of winter traction, but also behave well when the roads are bare and drive a little more like an A/S tire in these situations... All for a very reasonable price...

    http://thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp...en/eurowin.jpg

the Yokohama line has a few model choices ranging from the extreme ice traction of the Ice guard IG10 to the Sporty driving feel of the AVS Winter... Both premium level tires at some really great prices...

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me...

I was talking to him about this earlier, I don't know if it was the cheapest but there was the yokohama Avus winters @ around $200/tire.

Funny I was just going to PM you about winter tires. Is there any differences between mounting winters on steelies vs aloys?

Not really steel vs aluminum... More based on size and degree of difficulty... Most winter sized tires (if purchased from me) will be $60.00 to $80.00 on a set of 4 tires mounted and balanced onto the car up to 18 inch. If you bring me someone elses tires I usually charge just a little bit more (around $20.00 on average)...

I was thinking more along the lines of reliability as I have a set of 15" steelies and alloys so I was wondering which to stick new winters on.
BTW I saw the new Axis ad that listed you as the Canadian distributor in the new performance auto and sound, congratulation's.

I personally would run steelies for winter if I had a choice. not really more reliable, but I would feel less upset denting a steelie in a pothole under the snow... lol
