Cosmos does Brilliant work! (long time coming) PIC HEAVY!

Earlier this year, I had a fella slam on his brakes right as light turned yellow downtown, and I slid on the gravel and rear-ended him. Dang, my bad. Well as some of you may recall I busted the front bumper in Lethbridge on a couple ice cookies while crossing railroad tracks.

Fast forward to the spring, and I'm looking to my R fixed by the best and call up Cosmos. We talk VW's for a bit, and Loc says he can expedite a "VW Enthusiast". Booya. I look around his shop, and then realize how truly fortunate I am. AMG's. RS4, M5. S5's.. S4's.. 993's .. 964's. even a mint looking old bug.

And then ol Blue, my lil R. Lookin all beat up.





Bungy cord temporarily holding coolers in place.





Both the wait and the cost were very reasonable. I had the bumper smoothed of it's indicator lights, the round cut-out filled to de-badge, along with the hood. His body shop guys, didn't feel the need to use the hydraulic lift to install the Cupra R lift.

I stopped by Cosmos a couple weeks ago to catch up with my old friend Loc and he mentioned that he was taking care of a fellow .:R. If yours was who he was talking about, didn't you get some interior touches done as well?

Car looks great BTW. Make sure she's out on the next .:R cruise!

Loc was very nice and helpful. Your car looks amazing. Wish they'd done that good of a job on mine. Guess that's what I get for rushing them though...

Yep, likely me. He added a Loc trademark, a flat blue vent trim piece. He insisted upon it, and it has really grown on me. I'll have to pop by and take some pics in front of his new shop.

Lol. I have them actually, OEM paint. I like the lil racing stubbies more. We should've got you to bring your Porsche with TJ and I last night.

We were ripping around near you. Heck TJ might've woke 1/2 your neighborhood. I'd prefer to have woken the other 1/2, but my car is too quiet.

sweet review! I still drop by the shop once a month to chat up with ken/staff.... I was there yesterday and the cars they had were nsx, lamborghini, and an mercedes sls.... I love seeing the cars there and amazed at how many nice cars get in fender benders.. we need to do a cruise/drive around..

Rob, next time we have a cruise you can jump in with me. I didn't invite anyone into my car Sunday morning as it had stinky hockey gear in it. That's also the reason it's so filthy in the pictures. I had a hockey game Saturday night in Chestermere, and the bumper ate some bugs.
