if you dont like the food or whatever, you don't have to eat... most the people don't anyways. i personally think moxies is fine, the food seems to be good to me, and yeah you are not going to find many places that accommodates 50ish people like there were this month. I know a lot of people bash moxies, but i do think south port is alot better than others. (shawnessy has been pretty brutal to me haha). Whether we stay or go, Im good with either. I come for the people not the venue.

      sort of

back in the day we met at the BP's across from deerfoot meadows/heritage

the parking was always great but the service sucked ass so we quit them

that being said i'm almost getting sick of moxies too but then the food at moxies is still better than BP's

Being in the know, if you know of such a place I would be more than willing to try another place. Parking is usually the biggest problem.
True enough. Most restaurants would be willing to accommodate a large group, A centralized location with good parking would be the biggest issue. Phoenix Grill is a great place, I spent 5 years there and have nothing but good things to say. There's one in Shawnessy and one in Westhills. Large parking lots at each, and fantastic food prepped daily.

I've been at the Earls on 130th for a bit now, we're not open yet but once the ball gets rolling I could probably get some sort of eurodrivers meeting discount. Not the best location for anyone in the north of the city, but the quality of the food and commitment of the staff is outstanding.

            Westhills would be pretty cool!

I come from the north going to south port or to 130th would be pretty well the same time +/- 5 mins

It's not just the food (which is crap) it's the company as a whole I have an issue with. I take my job fairly seriously, so a place like Moxies just has no appeal to me on a professional level. But on that note I know it's a meet, not a dinner date, so location counts more than venue.

But as far as Moxies goes, pictures speak louder than words so; (For what it's worth, this isn't the southport location)

After looking at health inspections at various locations, Phoenix Grill is looking fantastic.

Phoenix - Great, not a problem in the last year.

Moxies - Consistent food handling/food storage/sanitizing/fruit fly problems.

Haha just spent too much time checking out all the places I eat at. My current nursing home is perfect, the last one...not so good.

We should go to Buffalo Wild Wings in sun ridge once it opens. It's American excellence!

Oh yeah, good call! There's also one opening in the south, I believe.

What about jack astors right off southland drive in the plaza? Or there's Buffalo Wild Wings just north of there.
