get it done...like Jordan said, don't test the Audi gods lol. Mine is actually on it's third believe it or not. It was done at 68k, 112k, and I just did it again when I had the engine out at 160k.
You guys are playing ro-sham-bo with the devil. If your TB breaks, you'll be hating life. If money is a concern, I can do the TB job for you for a lot less than other shops can...
i'm doing it myself jordan but i may ask for help.. i have to order the kit and lock bar and crap still. saving money for my trip this fall
plus i've stopped driving my s4 to work and the wife takes it the whole 1 km to work in airdrie now so i put about 70kms on the thing per month now! then back to the garage it goes
i still have to put in my catless piggies and rs4 ics too.. sigh
I wouldn't say that it's easy, not on the 2.7t anyways. I can get it done in about 5-6 hours on average, 3-4 hours if everything goes smoothly.
The 2.8 A4 and 2.7TT motor are essentially the same, minus the turbo's and their equipment. I'll meet you halfway and say that its an easy job if you are mechanically inclined.
