Don't worry, man. Your car will be more fun to drive than any B7 could ever be; especially with a few fueling upgrades

Re: Question for B6/B7 S4 Drivers.

I get between 15L/100km and 18L/100km in the city.
17L/100km is pretty normal. ~380km per tank.

Normally in my B5 I get around 510-520 km per tank. And I try not to lead foot it that much and that's pretty much all city driving.

I used to get around 13-15 L/100km in my 540i, I think it was the wind drag on the popped collar.

I have a B6 S4 Avant and usually get 10-12 L/100km on the highway and maybe 14-16 in the city.

I get about the same, sometimes I can do over 400km per tank but very very rare

What's the volume of the tanks mentioned - 70l? 65l?

Even my wife gets 12l/100 in the city on my A6 2.7, tip.

You should know that the cluster data is configurable - for your convenience one could configure it way below the real consumption ....

                        airdrie-downtown calgary 4 days a week
then downtown to the NE or NW and back home from there 3-5x a week..
and vise versa.. airdrie to NE/NW then downtown and home

weekends... all over the place to calgary or whever to

so really its oh 75% highway i'm guessing

i'm OK with the mileage i get.. i know its not a corolla lol
i was wondering how you were getting over 500 per tank on average, i can cruise on the highway between 6-9 L/100 but when im going to work day in day out its right around 11.4, and thats with really watching the cluster to try and keep it as low as possible
