  • New dyno #'s on built bottom end

So I went to a dyno a few days ago (mustang dynamometer) thats why the #'s seem low 304.9 whp and 278 tq. The dyno was done at 20.6psi on 91 oct. I had to much fuel so the ms 109 didnt really work so well . I installed a turbo smart dual stage mbc on the car and it didnt wanna boost over 20 psi no matter what we did with it

On a built bottom I guess you want to be boosting 25, so that explains the numbers? Did you lower compression at all?

What turbo do you use again? I find it hard to believe you maxed it out, you sure you have no leaks?

No leaks and the turbo didnt max out yet the mbc didnt wanna let me turn up the boost. The turbo is a t3t4 60 trim and the compression is stock still. On a dyno jet it would make 346whp cause the mustang show 13.6% lower

I think just rods, which are a good idea when going big turbo on the 1.8t. Pretty good #'s on that dyno, around 400 crank hp on 91 gas. Shame about the boost issue, time for a nice ebc and 25+psi, Dom.

I have new rods, bolts, rings and turbo. I have cams that I will install later on. I will go to C1 and make a 400whp plus pull when I get the boost up to where I want it

Which place did you go to? Toma's or Tecmotion. I've been on both and you should stick with either. don't bother going on a dynojet at this point. Mustang dynos are better for tuning anyways. Those are very impressive numbers don't worry about them being low after all dyno is a tuning tool
