            craziest looking smart ever seen.

Now if you drop a Hayabusa engine in it, you would scream and look crazy.

I never really had a sense of what this would look like finished, but I have to say it's amazing. Very, very nice. The wheels/tires are insane!

have you chipped it? I'm curious how the performance has been affected by the wheels!

                    Re: 2005 Smrt CDI

Been chipped for 44,000kms, dyno tested to around 50% gains. The wheels do make it a bit slower but still not so bad, been so long since I drove a stock one I forget how slow it was, the chip is a must have IMO.

You've made me change my mind about smart-cars! Thats a SLICK looking ride you've got there! Kudos!

                                Chipped too, heh, thats awesome!

Any plans for any more upgrades/modifications?

Thanks for the good thread! And again, great looking car!

                                Cheers,

*P.S. - What's your top speed on that car? Maybe this sounds stupid... but can it handle highway or passing speeds? - Say 120-140 ish? Thx!*
