Good job. Did you align the car after? I hope to have my GTI back soon, getting tired of this damn Ford fusion.

Well since the weather is getting nice out and my buddy had some time, we finally installed the coilovers so here's some pics (lots) from the weekend *NOTE it's not gonna sit like that, it's only temporary as we were only messing around and going to wait for the coils to settle in more.............still plenty more for low*

    fk coils front

    rears

    jacked

    driver front suspension

    hid leveler control arm

    front end link

    unscrewing

strut spreader made our lives easier

oem suspension off on driver side

brakes just hanging (supported of course)

    fk's in

fronts lowered (will be lower when fenders are rolled/pulled with new wheels/tires)

    rear driver side suspension

    HID leveler control arm

control arm away from brake unit and struts

    fk rears in

rears lowered (again will be lowered more)

    stock height

front fitted wheels unloaded shouldn't stick out so much

    test fitting front grill

    top view

got some new euro gt fog grills (sold the r-lines for those following this thread) and wolfsburg lower centre grill to match the top grill.

Need to get my wheels and tires mounted and balanced and then do a lot of work to get them fitted on the car and also getting the right stance stay tuned! i'll try to keep this updated and quick. once again sorry for the crappy pics and dirty car hahaha

    Hey guys,

It Saturday and it's crappy out (boo with all this snow). Anyways, thought I'd share some pics since I haven't done so in awhile..so here goes.

The rubber these wheels will be going on. Just came in yesterday afternoon.

Also replaced all my interior lights to LED's, as well as my city lights. I will post some pics of that later. Should be a good summer as there's a lot of plans. Some plans are to change the rear bumper, change up the front, an exhaust/downpipe, get my lowers painted. I'm sure there's more (there always is). Hopefully it will all come through. Stay tuned...

I was waiting for someone to comment on those crocs...ahah they were the closest "shoe" I could find in the garage. Anyways, I did have the catch can installed and had it for maybe 800km's. I couldn't stand how it smelt after. At first I didn't mind it (I like the smell of gasoline). I wouldn't think it's healthy inhaling all that BTW how's your car going? any new mods?

Here's a pic of the catch can I never uploaded on here for some reason...

Also, got the LED's installed over the weekend. Not the greatest pictures, but it'll do for now, gotta wait for the wheels and coilovers to go in and get a shoot going (thanks JPO for the VAGCOM)

    Hey Guys,

Just a quick update seeing winters coming up pretty soon here,

Got some License plate LED bulbs installed. (9 LED's in 1 housing.)

    up close

lights up the back pretty well haha

Also, got some OEM LED tail lights which i'll be installing tomorrow. Its gonna be a PITA but well worth it!

    Passenger side

    Driver side.

And last but definitely not least, my wheels came in last week. It'll be a long wait since I plan on putting them on next summer. Plus, I need to buy some tires for them. Here's a tease (car hasn't been lowered yet either, still stock height) FK's will be on after winter also. Just wanted to test fit the rears and see how it'd look.

Thanks for looking. Tell me what you think!

Cool, got the same can I got. The vendor I purchased from sent me wrong parts, so I haven't been able to install it yet. Hopefully I get the correct parts soon.

    Re: My 09 GTI

Just got back from my vacation on the weekend and had to clean my car. Just installed some missiles, tacks and an ejected seat (I know it's crooked). Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to install the coilovers sometime this month or early next!

    Here's a crappy BB pic.
