it's okay derek! i still love your 993 and your rs4 that i havent ever seen yet. and it's never too far. i still have my ssr in case i actually do have trouble with these. (which is why i decided not to sell them after a while when I got the BBS)

but yeah since i've got them, i've been back and forth a lot and still am with how it will fit and still look half decent. Even when I had them in the fronts, it didn't go as low obviously. but i wasn't too sure if i liked it or not. that being my frame isn't notched. If i were to get it notched, it would definitely go lower in the front and the fender would sit perfectly in between the lip and tire. I just don't think it's worth it though to notch. Plus, if and when the rears get pulled, there's no going back. going back to a less wide wheel would make the rear look dumb IMO. so what should i do? lol Plus with this set up, i can't enjoy driving it as much (i'd be scared to drive fast). do i really want to do all this work for just a set of wheels?

anyways yeah like i said i'm still iffy about the rears. I still have to get an alignment no doubt and will probably see if i can get more camber in the rears then try seeing how it looks. if not then i'll resort to going back with the SSR's and keep my RS' for my wheel collection haha.

so yeah to sum it up, it's all up in the air (no pun intended).

and i was informed this morning that someone else in town now has the SP1's in spectrum silver.

PFFTT no wayy, the SSR's are definatly cool, but once you camber out the rear and put the fronts on the RS's are gonna suit the car way more imo. With the triple chrome they look amazing Ricky

I respectfully disagree. If he cambers the rear more without giving the fronts added camber it is going to look a bit wacky, especially with the way the fenders/quarters are now. Right now the front fender is curved down smoothly to where the wheel sits (like any front fender) but the rear quarter just drops straight down from the roof, he is going to need to build in a fairly sizeable widened wheel arch to match the front to make it look right. That is just my opinion. And again this only applies to this model car in particular.

I have always like RS's but i think width has gotten out of hand on these ones

i kinda agree with derek and martin, i think the ssr's suit your car so much more, but i will have to see the final product.

Its gonna take alot of fender pulling, but I think it can be done. and knowing Ricky, he wont rest until its done right. I also think it looks a bit goofy now, but I understand the craving of pulling out your car when the weather gets nice. I still love your old SSR's though.....I dont know how you have the heart to replace those!!!

Martin I agree with you on this. I gotta get my alignment done and I'm sure I can still get a few more degrees in camber. Also, I'll be pulling the rear fenders so I'm hoping it'll sit better then right now. Because in my opinion it looks pretty ridiculous atm lol.

Although the RS's are baller, the SSR's fit the car 100X better. How high did you have to air the rear up when driving to get the tires not to rub?

i'd just buy an r32 if that were the case lol.

anyways since this weather has been amazingly beautiful, i had to take the car out for a spin and damn i missed it lol. took some pics of course! looked at the weather network 14 day trend and next week should be super nice. I know it's far out and with living here, the weather blows and you can only count on it being accurate on the day of at that time but it's something to think about and excites everyone.

just wanted to drive around to see how the rears would feel lol.

and probably my favorite picture. made me fall in love with the SSR's all over again. They just look so good clean and even without the sun it looks super slick. that or because it's been in the garage and i haven't really looked at it in a long time.
